Hey, I have two plants that have yellow leaves. These leaves are at the bottom of the plants. On one, it is the lowest set of leaves, not starter leaves it is a 3. On the other plant, it is one of the larger leaves, a 5, and it is brown at the ends and yellow to green from the outside in. Both plants are about 50 - 60 days old.

![]() | This is something used from another post to further your growing experiences. It might help ur problem or not. It was from plant problems and solutions or something that meant that but said it in another way. Iron – Iron (or EDTA) can be locked out if the pH goes too high. Iron deficiency can show itself as slow growth combined with yellowing, almost whitening leaves. If your pH level is kept below 7, you should never experience Iron deficiency. If there is too much Phosphorus (P) present in the roots then Fe will be locked out. If you do suspect a low Iron level, lower your pH to about 6.3 – 6.5 until normal growth resumes. An excess of Iron (usually caused by too low a pH), will lock out Potassium, Manganese and Nitrogen. I had the same problem and i fixed it by reducing the amount of inorganic fertilizers. Which realy was causind my ph to be more of a base which constricted the iron and caused my whole plants to be yellow. I didn't know this before but i just got lucky! ![]()

![]() | i had a problem with the lower set of leaves yellowing and i hadn't even used any ferts or anything... turns out that my plants were rootbound and in a bad need of a transplant. once i got them in bigger containers, the yellowing stopped and the plnats took off. maybe this helps? | ||

![]() | Thanks!!! My leafs are no longer dropping and all yellow is gone. My plant is now flowering and smelling skunky. I know it not too much lumens, it's outside. The problem turned out to be mostly rootbound. Never again will I under estimate my little girls. Thanks for the common sense reminder Brindie!
