![]() | This is my first grow and I haven’t had any problems... until now. Today I lifted up the 5 gallon bucket that my plant is in and there were all these red ants under it. They seem to be colonizing in the ground but I saw a few in my bucket. I think they’re entering through the drain holes in the bottom and carrying the horse manure back to their nest. My plant looks fine but I'm worried. I read that red ants can really mess up your roots. How can I kill them? Any info would be highly appreciated.

That's not what I was told. I'm not saying you're wrong or anything... Here's the newest pic I have. She's budding now. I've taken some clones and I'm trying to root them in water. (I got the instructions from smokinrav's thread) I'm setting up a grow room, it's 5x6x10 or something like that. I've got a 400 watt HPS and some floros.

![]() ![]() ![]() | Ants are not harming your plant- they are just living in the pot. If you watered it more often they would go away, but as it is they are not doing you any harm. Give an ant a break, eh?
