i have 5 plants growing under a 400w hps 2 of the plants are just starting but 3 of them r 8in.2 days ago 1 of the big plants top leaves started growing out really weard ,they looked really bad so i toped the top set that was growin out wack.
my problem is that its 2 day later and the other 2 plants are growing out the same way?The hps is hanging about 3feet above the plants ,also im using miracle grow soil and 2 days ago wen the plant got toped i used a deluted fertalizer 20\20\20 2 water. The next day i did the same. Since thefertalizing i also stoped spraying the plants with staralized water.
Could the problem be because of the fertalizer or because of the laps of moister from when i stoped spraying them.

how often and how much do you water? sounds like classic overwateing. do you wait until soil is fairly dry? do you own a moisture meter? how strong are you mixing your ferts?

I dont think that its becouse of over watering cuz i only water when the soil gets dry 2 inches down in the pots and when i stoped misting them is when the problem started with the other plants . A lso the fertalizer is deluted twice as much as it should be and i havent used that much.Is it possible that i could be not watering enough , or should i keep misting the plants?Iheard on highTimes web page that if you mist your plants more often , but lightly it will protect the plants from drying out in a room thats hotter than needed. what shoul i do? any answers would be good. thanx
