What the heck is going on?? These plants are 21/2 mos old been on 12/12 lighting for a month still no sign of boys..or girls they are staying short..but condensed which is good I think..put in chicken poop 4 days ago so they are dark green once again yellowing has ended. But Why oh why are they not showing their sex yet?

Hmm...if you started them on 12/12 at 1 1/2 months they probably weren't mature when you started that cycle. They should be by now though. That's weird.

Are the branches alternating off the main stalk or still coming out in pairs?

High Organic, The plants were too young I think but I have a hydro friend who told me flower now!..Ive been doing this 8 yrs I should have listened to myself..whats HE know about soil crops anyhoo? Well the plants have a compact look of an adult plant getting bushier but no boys showing yet and I know darn well they arent all females or I'd be calling the guinness book of world records on that one. When will they flower? Should I lay off the chicken poo? Seemed to bring them out of that yellow color. took about 4 days though..will smaller plants result in smaller buds or one major sized cola? They are too small to even tie down this time around.

Cool Light Leak
permalink

That is a VERY long time for them not to show their sex ... My latest haze took 21 days just to show her pretty pistils. So I am thinking that you must have some type of light leak in there .... Did you check it out good and make sure no light is creeping in somehow. That is the easiet answer and the first place to look ... if you already looked once then double check it

For plants flowered immaturely you will get one skinny cola usually with not much meat on 'em but at 2 1/2 months now I'd say they should come out pretty good ....

Check those leaks out

Timer is a new one so thats not it ..I check on it anyway..the strain is skunk/haze ..with some purple plants that kick butt..I assume they are a purple skunk ..Im gonna clone them cause they are soo highly resinated..out of say 400 plants 8 are purple..should I be fertilizing with chicken crap during flowering or lay low?

For flowering, you want a high P fertilizer. Chickensh!t is highest in N, better suited for veg growth. You might try bonemeal.

More info on organic fert NPK levels available here.
