![]() | Hi everyone, I'm having some problems with some of my plants. I am using a 400w hps, growing in soil, have fed a few times with blood meal tea. I do not know the ph. Due to some lighting/power problems this grow has not been going very smoothly, plant 1 is over a month old, and plant 2 is is younger. On plant 1 the lower leaves started wilting, i thought she needed water i watered her but the problem didn't stop, the wilted leaves then turned yellow, and eventualy brown, and fall off, as some of the lowest leaves have done. It only used to effect the lower leaves but now seems to be doing its damage to the whole plant. pics of plant 1(bag seed): lower leaves on plant 2 turn yellow, the whole plant looks kinda yellow pics of plant 2(white widdow): ![]() any help is greatly apprecitated. thanks ![]()

![]() | soil is not preferted. i would test the ph but dont have the money for an expensive $100 ph tester. i've been thinking of buying a cheap one, but ive heard that those are very inacurate.

![]() | get the ph meter cheap or expensive. I would say the cheapest way to check ph or get it under control is to get the test for fish tanks and test the water you are putting in and the run off. again i suggest getting a soils tester though

I am growing 4 plants (bagseed) with fluros. Everything is going fine, but the first like two sets of leaves turned yellow and died on all the plants. The first ones that are just one finger, then the next set up that has 3 fingers. The rest of the plant is fine and it is the same for all four plants so I just figured that it was supposed to happen. Am I wrong? Did I do something wrong? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I would say it is nitrogen deficiency mixed with poor airation and root rot/overwatering. The plant seems to be stretching as well for being under a 400 watt light. I think you need to make a better soil mixture, transplant, and water less. good luck KP
