I noticed hundreds of these tiny fast moving little bugs in the tray I have for collecting run-off from my pots. After a bit of research I found a pic on the web of the bug I have and they turn out to be thrips. Any suggestions on iradication?

yeah, I saw the information in the NTG. Has anyone else dealt with these things? They seem to be leaving the plants alone....but I'm not sure, I'm dealing with some other probs right now....Mg lockout from chlorine.

Very similar controls as whiteflies. Yellow and/or blue sticky traps, insecticidal soap, predator insects, resmethrin based insecticides are all choices from least toxic to more. Here's a good article. I never knew they were biters. Did you know that ladybugs bite also? Thrip Control Good luck. buzzmobile ![]()
