Exclamation Couple concerns but primarily WEBBING!!!

And hello yet again.
I just found out that my White Rhino has a some silky webbing on it. I looked everywhere on them for bugs ie: spider mites but I can't find anything! I'm dumbfounded! What should I do to deal with this on a pretty limited ($0 dollar budget) And believe me, I'm not kidding about the the budget!

The other thing I read another post on, was browning spots happening to my lower leafs. Someone said that if it is happening only to the bottom leafs (which is pretty well how it is right now) that it is normal. I'm worried that it might spread, but I think it might be as he said "normal". Is there any safety precautions I can take to look after this problem?

If either of these problems are serious I would really like to know now, and how to deal with them before these problems spread to my other plants! I'm on my first day of flowering now, just in case that helps in any way!

Thanks for all the help time and time again!

Webbing sounds like spider mites. Place a white sheet of paper under the branches of the plant and shake it vigorously. Then look at the sheet of paper for tiny specks that move slowly. The cheapest method to treat them is to spray a blast of water at the plant and wash them off. Pay particular attention to the undersides of the leaves. There are no easy or cheap methods of control. Good luck.

Ok I will do that. I would like to try and do this as cheap as possible but if it means not ruining my grow then I guess I have to get something else doesn't it! There is no way I will let my babies die off due to some pest without a fight. I need these ladies to pay for themselves this time around lmao.

So is there any sure fix? So far the webbing is only on one plant, so I would like to eliminate them before they spread. I'm glad I was pretty right in my diagnosis of spider mites, but like I said, I couldn't see crap'ola!

A sure fix is Avid, but it is not what I would call inexpensive at $99/8 oz. bottle.

LOL... Well, as much as I would like to say I could try to pull together the cash to afford that, the fact is I can't get that kind of disposable money at the moment. Things are incredibly tight around here. I thought maybe something around 10-20. LMAO Harsh, I'm hooped eh? When I spray them I should do so during the night cycle as well eh?

Thinking about murdering them in their sleep, eh? Agent 86 has a recipe for mite tea linked in his signature. choader uses Isotox. If your plants are in veg go get 'em. If they are in flower you have some decisions to make regarding spray residue. I have sprayed with Avid as late as five weeks into flowering. My lungs stopped bleeding after a couple of months. They felt better after I cured the buds in acetone.

Just messing with you to see if you are paying attention.

Whatever you decide to use you must be thorough in your spray coverage. Pay particular attention to the undersides of the leaves and make sure that the leaf surface is moistened. Cannabis has a natural water repellent and you need to overcome that with enough spray. Be relentless and persistent.

Ok thanks again!!! I'm only 2 days into flowering so far so it's not that big of a concern I don't think. But I would really, really like to nip these pests in the ass before they nip my ladies to pieces!

I just called up some local shops around town to figure out what they reccomend and one of them didn't know crap (he never does and that is why I never deal with him) but the other 2 recommend 1 of the same products. First off, the one guy reccomended predatory mites. He said they are very effective and very safe! But then he said a very popular product is called "end all". He said it should do it for me. The other guy, recommended a mixture of "end all" and "neme oil" or something like that. He said that after about 2 spays they should all be dead and that he normally sprays maybe once a week there after just to make sure they don't return.

The "End All" is only 12.99 CDN so that sounds like a cheap treatment. The first guys just recommended using it. The "neme oil" is 22.99 CDN which is a bit more expensive and I think I will try just the "End All" before I try making the batch of the other stuff. Hey why spend more when you don't have to!

ANyhow, anyone else ever try or hear of this stuff?????
