| Now thats the way to give some info As long as your new growth(leaves)is fine then she should be okay! Make sure when you water that they need it, over watering is too easy And when you fert make sure you dilute it alittle,1/4 or so on. Keep up the good work and keep us posted![]() Smoker4life420 "Keep the chronic growin" Oh yeah if you're flowering your middle NPK number needs to be high | ||

![]() | I am still vegging but have run into more porblems the yellow spots seem to be making there way up the plant. I had to move the plants into a room with no lights for about 6 hours due to some un pleasentness by my landlord but are now back under the light. If the yellow spots are working there way up what does this mean? I read from organic that leaves do not self regernrate and the leaves with the yellow spots will be very critical when i go to 12/12 in 2 weeks. any way all info will help Thanks!!

![]() ![]() ![]() | Thanks for all the info! ![]() First thing you need to do is check your pH. You can get pH test kits for a couple of bucks, or even better, a resuable pH tester for under $15 at Home de Pot or someplace similar. The pH should be in the 6.0 - 7.0 range. You may be overwatered and may be overferted. Are you waiting until the plants start drooping when you water? Also, once a week might be too much for them on the ferts. Another consideration is that they may well be getting rootbound. You're going to want to transfer them to bigger pots for flowering, so you might as well go ahead and do that now. Use at least 3 gallon pots, and 5 if you have the space. After you get the pH checked, post back and we'll work on the next step. rganic

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I vote on this ..... 5 weeks old and in an 8" pot )from seed I take it) would be getting rootbound about now; especially if it has been growign nicely and not stunted or tramatised in someway ... Can you slip the plant out of the pot? are the roots like all around the perimeter? I'd first suggest transplanting to a bigger pot or repot in the same pot after do a little root trimming and a fresh soil mix ![]() LB

![]() | Uh oh... Here is my Probem the reason I has to use the small pots is because of size concerns. I really cannot fit any bigger pots in my space. When reading one of our good freinds Ed Rosenthals books: He has a picture of like 4 foot plants in pots the same size as mine. If I absolutly Cannot get bigger pots do I have any other options??? Thanks again

![]() | I have two things to add to this: 1. the bottom leaves yellow as they are cut off from the main stem. This happens because the stem girth widens as the plant gets bigger and they are just cut off. This tends to happen less in Hydro, don't ask me why. 2. If you are really pressed for space, but cannot get bigger pots, you may want to try putting those pots into some kind of tub that you can fill with water, and get an airstone to oxygenate that water. That should give the roots somewhere to go, and you can just keep water in that tub. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | If you can pull it out then do so and get a sharp knife and trim about 1/4 - 1/2" CAREFULLY off the 4 sides and bottom, do not crush, break up, or otherwise mangle the rootball. Then just mix up soem new soil and stick it back in teh same pot and it will grow for another month or so before you may have to do it again .... try to time that right before you flowerso theyh can fill in again and build betetr budz ![]() LB

![]() | In your fertilizer label check to see if it has any mg in it.Are your stems looking a little red in color? And are the leaf margins on top of the plant turning up a bit , the reason I ask is because as mg defeciencies progresess this is what you may incounter. Also, if your fertilizer has no mg in it , then at 5 weeks old you will begin to see mg defeciencies. Solve promblem by adding 1teaspoon of epson salt to your next watering , if you want to see if it truely is a mg defeciency before next watering then mist the leaves on the underside , see if that helps.
