Here's a pic of my WW. I believe this is nute burn and went ahead with a flush. However, I also discovered some sort of flying insect. I looked around the grow room and found 1 more. I'm not sure if this insect is a pest or just flying around. So is it nute burn or this little guy. BTW, the bug is about the size of a needle head. Peace.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hi Mhung420... ![]() Looks like nute burn mate. What stage are they at and what PPM did you have them at. WW is very easy to burn, been there done that... On the flying bugs, I get some of that sticky fly paper and put it up in the room and see how many you get stuck to it. If you can then identify them you can find the best aproach.. Xjo ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Thanks XJO. I had them up around 850 ppm...which I thought would definetly be okay, but I see in several journals that these plants are prone to burn. I flushed for 48 hours, the reintroduced the nutes at 450ppm. I'll check today to see how much they took. The buds keep swelling, but some of the leaves really took a hit. I'll try those sticky strips and torture the lil bugger until he gives up his friends. Peace.

![]() | that little bug looks like a fungus gnat. They are quite common. They tend to feed on decaying matter like potting mix. They may eat the roots of your plants or the cotyledons however but they prefer the fungus on the decaying organic matter (potting mix). If you let your mix dry out well, the larvae tend to die off quite quick. They prefer damp soil. One or two isn't an infestation but the sticky strips with pheremones will get lots of adults. edit> if they are eating your roots, you can expect stunted growth. Again, one or two aren't an infestation

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Thanks for the reply PH and I haven't seen any activity on my roots(grow hydro) and hopefully that'll be the last one I see. Growth (specially with the buds) hasn't slowed, thank god. Must be me over feeding. Peace.
