What's up everyone? I was giving my nlxshiva a new tie down and I broke off the main stem . My plant is about 11" high, but very thick and bushy. It just started it's first day of flowering and it broke about 2 1/2'' down on the main cola. Their was 2 sets of branches that broke, so their were 4 brances total. Do you guys think it will recover o.k. and did I just top the plant like some people do anyway. Thanks everyone!

Yep. Sounds like it should be fine, imho.

Hey I broke my main stem once before at the bottom I then tapped it to make it stay where it should be and left it like that for about three weeks and it repaired itself. So I removed the tape and then it was stronger than it was before it broke.

Thanks for the replies guys. I just needed some reassuring my plant would be alright Unfortunately I tossed the broken stem away. One more thing, Should I put the plant back to veg so it can grow back it's main stem, or will 12/12 be o.k. It's only been flowering for 2 days now.

Within 3 days you will see new sprouts emerging. Topping is not an occasion to dial 911. Your plant will be bushier than you ever thought possible.

some people like myself used topping as the main method for forcing bushier growth i now use lst as it creates better bud growth as main cola is the best bit of the plant but i never found topping to bad for the plants to cope with good luck anyway it happens in the wild so plant is prepared for such damage and more often then not helps it grow
