I need some advice. My plants were acid burnt ph of about 5.8 to 6. They were like that for a 7 to 12 days(couldnt get a ph tester) Then I used Baking soda to bring up the ph. I added water with a ph of about 7.4 to 8. Yesterday night. Can anyone help me out with a time frame of how long till they start to get better. Should it be soon? or can it take a few days? I am using a 105 w cpf and 2 4' fluros for the light. I could really use the advice. hits for ev eryone who helps ![]() | ||

ph of 5.5-6ish should be the target range. acid burn would be ph of 3 or something. ph of 7.4-8 is WAY too high. care to elaborate? peace- arnold layne

RH? pH 6 is a touch on the low side for soil, but best to make sure were not missing anything ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | right, i think youre going to have problems adjusting the pH of the medium now that the plants are in there. i think the only real option open is to transplant to a new mix, with the pH in the correct range before planting. the organics forum is probably a good place to read about soil preparation if we dont get someone in here with some suggestions ![]()
