![]() | Greets, I checked the plants after a couple of days and found these problems with my plant. The bubble gum discoloration looks a little bit gray & yellow...possible (N) nitrogen deficiency??? The White Widow looks like it could be a (K) potassium problem or its too cold in the grow room??? I keep the temps around 72-78F and the RH around 53-57%, any help is greatly appreciated. ![]() ![]() | What exact medium are you growing in? Kinda hard to tell from the pics, though I can tell it's soil-based. Do you know the pH? Could this be a pH problem? Also, can you get the humidity up a bit? 53-57% seems a bit low.

![]() | well I started the seeds in a styrofoam cup and then decided to change them to hydro. Theyre in a bubbler, pH is about 6...I have a feeling its a Mg or K problem. Gonna try some epsom salt and h202, see if that helps.

![]() ![]() | I don't think a K or MG problem is very likely at this stage of growth, unless the problem is excess. I think it's more likely to be shock from the medium change. Also, Try to fix the humidity. I don't know if that has anything to do with the problem, but it's the most obvious thing you're lacking, IMHO.

![]() | hey, is there any home made way of making humidity. I cant afford a humidifier right now so I dunno what i could do to raise it. In any event, I;ve done the stryofoam cup -> hydro before and didnt have results like this, they grew healthy and strong. I think any type of deficency could be possible at this point in these plants growing phase, I just started added nutrients to the water and it happend right around that time, a couple of days later. I'll try to see what I can do to raise the humidity and get rid of this problem. I added some epsom salts to see if it has any effect on the plants. thats all for now laters, -kernelklink

![]() ![]() | Lay off the nutes and try to boost humidity. It could be some kind of nute excess/burn. I don't know of a sure fire way to raise humidity, but i've heard of people leaving pans of water in spots throughout their grow room, or in front of their fans. Try it if you cant get a humidifier, see what works for you. Fix that and lay off the nutes for a while, then eventually bring the nutes back on a much smaller level. If you do those 2 things, i'd be willing to bet you'd see a big difference.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | 50% RH is not an issue, stomata are fully open between 50 -75%, 75% is ideal IMO, reducing to 50% during the latter stages of flowering to reduce the chances of mold The problem exhibited by the lower leaves appears to be burn assosiated with localised splashing, maybe some nutes are making it up through the hydroton onto the leaves. if it is limited to the very bottom leaves, just cover the top of the media with something, or leave it. If however there is more evidence higher up, you need to supply more information, EC, pH etc ![]() looks like a minor issue to me ![]() San ![]()
