Brittle Leaves
permalink

I've currently got a 3 month old sativa growing in my closet, im using about 144wts of Compact Floro's. Whats happening is that the leaves look healthly, but on the touch there kinda dry and brittle. Im also worried about my bottom leaves. There yellowing and drying up. I just transplanted, so i know the roots arent the cause. I only water them once a week, so i dont think overwatering is the cause. As far as ferts, i give them a mild dose of miracle grow, but after a fert burn, i dont use it no more. Any advice would be helpful.

i think that might be the prob.
the leaves that got burned will continue to be burned. the new growth will tell ya how the plant's doing. the older leaves that were affected by the burn will be discolored and dead.
i'm guessing that you're growing in soil?
did ya flush after the last case of burn?
how's your ph?

Transplanted

I transplanted the plant about a week ago into a bigger container. Ive thought about flushing, but i think i did a pretty good job of it when i transplanted. But also on one of the newer leaves, at the tip of the middle finger on the fan leave, theres some slight brownish yellowish discoloration, any ideas??

sounds like nutes are a bit high.
when ya transplanted, you probably kept a good bit of the old soil.
to flush, i believe you have to use 2 or 3 times the volume of your pot (water).
do you know your ph?
is it pre-ferted soil?
peace-

I'd be leaning towards what Arnold is suggesting, give her a good flush, should help...
