15 inches is doable, if you have the air circulation. But if it's been 12 inches away fromt the get go, I'd sure look hard at that.
If it's heat stress from the light being too close, you should see it starting to yellow and then brown at the tips/edges and it should (logically) be from the top down.
You could also be getting your leaves pointing straight up or twisting.

What are the size of your containers (3 gallon, 5 gallon?) and what are the height of your plants?

ok I have a thousand watt in the room but only one ak-47 in a 2 gallon clay pot. I leave the light on twenty four hours a day cuz I have a bunch of ak cuttings that I just transplanted into cups . I take the clay pot out of the room at night.

The leaves are yellow with brown spots on them very brittle at the ends. The other two mothers I have going of the ak are healthy but are also showing signs of this yellowing and dryness.Could it be the strain its from emeryseeds and cost an arm and a leg.Does anyone have any experince with this strain?
