I think that's what you call them. They roll up in a little ball like an armadillo when you touch them. Whatever you call them, I seem to have a colony of them living in the soil of one or more of my flowering plants. I can't help but think they are bad for the roots but maybe I'm wrong. Opinions? And if they are bad, how should I go about getting rid of them? I tried a low dose of Bang! and that did nothing. I've been picking them out by hand when I water but there are always more. Hmmm. This is a new one for me. ![]()

They're in the soil so any damage would be to the roots I'd imagine... ![]() ![]()

![]() ![]() | Potato bugs eat rotting vegtable matter though in large numbers they are known to damage crops. If these guys are living in your soil I would remove any dead leaves or debris. They also live only in areas with plenty of moisture let your soil dry completely out and if you can lower the humidity in your room for a day. The combination should kill them off.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Thanks, I'll try to reduce moisture. There is a lot of old plant matter in the soil and there's not much I can do about that now but I'll also try to pick out what I can. Thanks again. ![]()
