![]() | What's up fellow growers, Here's the skinny on my bubbler setup: 4 plants total. 2 3-gallon rubber maid tubs. 2 plants per tub. Two air stones per tub. Three 4 ft flo's on the left side, and one 70w hps on top. (before you critasize) All three flo's ballasts had to go on the left side. I had no room elsewhere. As for the two plants per 3-gallon tub, I now realize that I needed a bigger tub. (live and learn ) Plants are in their fourth week of flowering. (day 22) So any way, My question is, do you think that rootbinding is causing this problem? The plants as a whole look great, but every so often a set of leaves will have a yellowing of the tips, the eventually go brown. But this goes no further than the tips of the leaves. Just wondering what you may think is causing this. I will grow my plants one per 3-gallon container next time. Oh, I'm using Gen Hydro Flora series nutes. Thanks for all the help and ideas. Later, CaveMan ![]()

But I'm not too sure. I watch the light closely and make sure that It's far enough away. But that don't mean diddley. The only reason I thought it was rootbinding, was that it's only happening to one or two of my plants. I have two that are almost exactly the same hieght, and only one is yellowing on the tips. It's just so weird how it's only the tips, the rest of the leaves are looking as healthy as h*ll. Oh well, no big impact on my grow. They are in 4th week of flowering, and buds look absolutely staggering. I was just hoping someone could shed a little more definative info on this. Thanks for the help though Childish, the more brains and ideas, the better. take care man, CaveMan ![]()

well...not really..i just throw my two pennies worth in so that i feel better for trying to help i dont know jack about gardening. your lucky ur already into flowering....mine are going yellow and theyre only 2 weeks old. yellowness at the tips could be caused by rootbinding or lack of nitrates in the soil...what fertiliser are you using? good luck with the rest of the grow Childish

I'm using the General Hydro Flora series. The three part set of floragrow, floramicro, and florabloom. I change my nutes every saturday, and add fresh water every wednesday, as they need it. Other than that, I just watch and learn. I pay attention to the light, but all seems fine there........sometimes it is the least expected suspect that is the culprit. I will watch the light a little more closely from now on. If that ain't it, at least that will be one down, and more to go. Peace, Caveman
