What is this brown liquid I'm seeing

I have a plant in flower and I notice that on some (2-3) leafs, there's this brown drop.

It looks like a drop of maple syrup and has the same consistancy (maybe resin?).

The only pest I have are occasional leaf jumpers (not a lot of them and no real sign of eaten leaf).

Any idea what this is?

It did end up being smoked, no special effect. It did smell like weed. So maybe some sap.

Not really a resin, in terms of good resin, but a secretion from the larger tissue parts of the plant. If you looked under a microscope, it would be a buildup of proteins and sugars, and hopefully not of a fungal infection. Nothing to worry about, but definitely something to keep your eyes upon.
