I germinated 2 seeds, greminated, put in soil, 1 grew the other didnt, when i checked it, it had little white bugs all over it. pin size white bumps that move that dont jump or least not that could see. I dont have a camera with that good of a lens to take a pic. you really had to look at them to see them move they are so tiny. anyway killed my seed i took out the cup but now what? i have read about soapy water and lemon extract. but do i need to treat all my plants when this was only found in 1 cup? I posted this here because it happened during germination little white bumps, upon planting these infested the seed and turned out to be bugs. i feel i am not explaining this right :/ sorry guys. thanks. they are little white dots like a white dot on a sno-cap (candy) except they move when distrubed. they infested the seed which had a 1 inch tail, killed it. they only seem to be in the seed tho. i have searched for seed eating bugs, white bugs, marijuana seed bugs cant find anything that exactly describes them, and i cant post a photo as 1 i tosed all the stuff 2 dont have a camera that would clearly show them :/ | ||

![]() | Most likely small organisms that feed on decaying matter and enjoy the humidity. If these are it, they belong to the weevil family, though they do not actively feed on healthy tissue or roots. My advice, whatever they may be, is to change the soil, throw it away, and start fresh. The chances of having more organisms in the soil that are not detected by the eye is greatly increased if you see these guys. Granted, there are more beneficial insects, nematodes, simple celled micro-organisms, fungi, and bacteria that will help with a soil system. But, unfortunately, sometimes the right setup will be also the right setup for organisms like these to unfortunately attack roots, root hair, and the crown of the plant. Take a pic, and that will help big time for the right indentification. ![]()
