I have 2 plants and ended up with 2 females...or so I thought. Now I'm on day 13 of flowering and one is starting to grow balls everywhere. But there's still alot of white pistils too. If I pick all the balls off should it be ok? Anyway, I guess I'm off to do that now.

Welcome to HC.com. If you have a hermie and you simply remove the balls you will reduce your chance of pollinating the females but don't be surprised if you still end up with seeds.

I had 3 girls growing. One day I discovered one had turned hermie on me. (See the pics above). I cut her down minutes after making this discovery.

3 weeks later I harvested my first girl. After she dried and I was cutting her up to put her in the jars I found 3 seeds. Granted not enough to complain about but still the little mutant managed to violate my girl a bit.

My second girl is due to be harvested in two weeks but she looks like she got pollinated too. Time will tell.

The moral of the story is if you leave males or hermies plan on seeds. Seeds production reduces THC production. Feel free to let IT grow but I'd cut IT and smoke IT.

Hope you had a chance to take some clones of the true females.

make sure your grow room/space, is completely light sealed. For me I have had hermies two times, and each time was because of a tiny little light leak.. I am talking barely visible in the dark. I sealed it off picked off all the balls, and they never regrew.

Like i said, my last harvest was the same way, and I ended up with like 10 seeds from two fairly big plants.

Just keep that damn light out. In order to flower these plants need 12 hours of "complete" pure darkness.

I picked off all the balls that were big enough. They're not very mature yet, very tiny. The lights probably were the problem, since I didn't have a timer yet for the first few days of flowering. Even now only 3 of my 4 lights are plugged into the timer so the other one I have to remember to turn off manually.

I'm definitely not cutting it down because it's been doing so well it's about twice the size of the other one. What did you use to block out the light? I have mine growing in my closet but I'm not sure what to use to seal the door.

I don't really have anything Important to say or add,,..,..Just was Say that Herms really really suck.. both my females have turned on me. Those *****es turned on me!!! One more thing. My male flowers don't look like they are opened up. none of them. and they ar enot hangin from no lil thin hair like the pics. how long do i have to remove the flowers before they pollinate. IT is under 1 150wHPS about 5 iches away. thankx in advance.
