| hey nitrous,,,sure, you're just about the right timing...poke around the petioles near the top of your plants - that's where the preflowers first show - with the magnifier, you may have some cool stuff to look at. but like brindie, you may have to wait a little while longer due to the 24/0...but they will show  patience...good luck with the grow | ||

| Digital microscope (10x, 60x, and 200x) = $50 on eBay. It's kind of inconvenient to maneuver around the plants, but you can see the images on your computer monitor. I have some plants that should show preflowers soon and I will try to post some pics here. | ||

| Brindi, I was thinking of getting that! It looks like you can take the microscope off the stand. If so, maybe you can point it directly at a leaf or branch (like a lazer pointer) and get good quality closeups? Let me know if that's possible because if it is I'm ordering one!

| Thanks again guys. Thanks to this post I took a CLOSE look at plants and found 2 females so far. not sure on rest yet. I am still in veggin stage.Day #34. Going to start flowering soon. Thanks again. I think i'll go have a closer look at rest of plants.  | ||

I picked up the portable microscope recommended on this string, but I'll be damned if I can figure how to use it to examine my plants. If you have had experience using it, please HELP! Thanks! And thanks for the preflower info! It is da kine.
