OK i see so many descriptions of ways for members to enrich their grows with Co2. I see members talking about mixing this and that, fish, breathing, tanks, generators, etc., etc. So I want to know this only if you are really a Co2 user. What system are you using right now. I am using a tank system for a 435 sq ft grow space. I got the regulator and solenoid with a system I bought, so it was sorta free. It's set on a timer soon to be married to a controller...but aren't all wives.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I use a generator right now, but thats just because I already owned it... I bought it a couple years ago and left it sitting on the shelf after a couple grows with it. Now that i've got an air conditioner running I'm able to use it again, but without one it was a joke. Co2 Tanks/regulators are far superior IMO, unless you live in an extremely cold climate, or have a massive air conditioner and cheap electricity. Although, I much do prefer the low-key-ness, of filling up a gas grill propane tank than going and getting bottled co2. Or even better, if you've got a natural gas hookup in your house, you never have to refill any tanks. -burner ![]() Last edited by afterburner; 05-31-2007 at 10:53 PM.. Reason: more info

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Funny I put a bid in for a Green Air CD-3LP very cheap and in very good shape. I figured if I didn't like it I could sell it. And I agree about the tanks...but since no one really visits and I don't BBQ much at all...to HOT!!!!....if my neighbors saw me carrying in propane they'd be more suspicious...I back me my in the garage some and throw the bottle in then....still a hassle though.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | My main method of co2 is a tank, but no regulator. I just open the valve for 2 minutes, than seal the room. Once a week or so I supplement my tank with dryice, I actually prefer this method. I can get it very very cheap, and the way I set it up, it actually cools my light and the room slightly. I use both at the same time. I'm including a picture, its a bad pic though, as the fan fell out of place as I took the pic. The fan (usually) rests on the cardboard, right up against the dryice, and blows the cold co2 across my light and than falls onto my babies. Don't forget that dryice is 109 degrees below zero, so there certainly is a cooling effect. On one recent hot day, using the dryice with the tank, I was able to maintain a temp of 89 degrees at canopy height for 12 hours without exhausting the room even once! That's pretty damn good. Peace ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() | I use the Plug N Grow IGS-061 with a 50lb tank. I love it thus far, and it was only $500. I would recommend it to anyone. Not only that I have had my Co2 going for almost a month now at 1500ppm and I am still on my first 50lb tank.
