I am so psyched!

I can't tell anyone in "real life" so I will say it here. I have my setup design posted in the indoor construction forum that details my plan. The cabinet and seeds came in and after a day or two of construction, I will be "wet papertoweling it". I have smoked for 20 years, but never knew the right people. I have mostly had commercial when I can find it, which is less often then you can imagine. I cannot wait to have White Widow sensi...YEAH!! It should be a great Christmas for me.

Congrats man! I've not been smoking for 20 years, only about 7, but I am also just about done with my little grow cab and will be starting my first grow soon so I'm feeling about the same as you now. I think I'm just gonna stick the seeds in the soil, though. Never understood the purpose of germinating outside the pot unless you were doing hydro (which you are, I think) or you're going to grow a whole bunch and don't want to waste dirt on duds.

Good luck w/the 1st grow man, you'll love it. I know I did.

Regarding the paper towel germination, I never had good results with it. I tried a different method after that and had better results. Soaking the seeds in a cup of distilled water until they
'cracked', then putting them into peat pellets ( Jiffy pellets ).

Recently, I found a post on another site stating one should add 1-2 ml of hydrogen peroxide to the paper towel after its wet to kill any bacteria that might kill the seed. I never heard this before, so maybe that's why I got bad germ rates for the paper towel method ( I was only getting 20% of seeds to germ ). Will you be adding the h2o2 to your paper towel?

The exact way I would germ in paper towel was, put the seeds in, fold it over twice, then put into a zip-lock bag, then put it somewhere dark w/ constant temp between 78-82F.

Congrats. I must say, I haven't been smoking long at all, (like 6 months, with month breaks quite often) and I always had problems with dealers, I can't find any consistant ones, now they have, and I have no money, when I have money, they have no weed, and it goes on and on, so I basically just smoked with my friend and got 1/2 a gram every now and then by him. I also had problems with the fact that I do not know the history of the weed I am smoking, I haven't got a clue where it's been, whats been used a fertalizer, has anybody been killed because of this weed, ect.
I decided, fuck that, I am going to do it they way it is supposed to be done, I am growing my own. Now I know my weed is organic, now I know nobody has been hurt because of it, now I know it is not laced, and now, I am smoking something I put love and care into, and what you sow is what you reap, and I am smoking love and care.

mykozmo is beginning to sprout.

Hi this is my first post here and I too am very excited about my first growth. It will be a White Widow Christmas!! I started smoking in 1963 and stopped in 1989. I'm REALLY looking forward to my first toke from my own efforts. Too bad it's a major felony in my home state to have a couple of plants (although I've come to think of them as comrades) in my closet. I'll keep y'all "posted".
