I am a newb when it comes to growing and I been hearing lots of different things and not knowing what to believe. First, I was told that adding some tea grounds to the soil increases growth speed due to the caffeine. Second, I was told that adding molasses about two weeks before harvest will help increase the level of the trichs. Has anyone tried either of these and is there truth to either of them?

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Molasses is an excellent additive, every time I have used it I have been very pleased with the results. I didn't know that it increased trichs though?? I always just thought it helped the plant drink up more nutes and thus, causing the buds to swell the last few weeks. ![]()

varies I think. All I can tell you is what I have always done and that is about 4 TBSP per gallon of water (i use distilled). Never had any problems with that, and like I said the results are very nice.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | coffee grounds sound bogus, at the very least "caffine makes it grow faster" is totally bogus. search the forums for "black strap molasses" there's a really good thread by profound about it.

![]() ![]() | Actually, from what i understood of molasses, the big thing about it is it causes the plant to resin.....and coffee beans actually are very nutritious, i think it's high in Nitrogen. Man it's been a while since i've been on these pages....but i hope the explaination helps a little. Happy Growing, Cat
