I've never heard of someone flowering for 6 months. I'd think the plants would be dead by then.

Yeah you don't hear about it but strains from around the equator can take that long(up to 6 months) to finish, climate providing. Yeah a lot of info regarding sativas and indoor grows but nothing about sativas taking 6 months to finish. and I would have to agree with Bluecheese never heard of a sativa taking that long to finish. 10-12 weeks is more reasonable to expect even with Thai strains, even Durban Poison finishes in 10 weeks according to Nirvana

If you can site specific "equatorial" sativa strains that take that long( 24-26 weeks) to finish please post that info.
