![]() | Does this have adverse effects? It's just such a bitch to cart off-site. I would love to know I can re-use it at least once. I have 8 Weeks of Flowering and use Nutes Almost every Watering (Water 3-4 times a week) I use: FoxFarms Ocean Forest Pro Bloom Cal Mag Humbolt Flower Hardened

![]() | I used to do that for a while. It worked but there are several problems that can come up that make it unadvisable. Some pests, like thrips, lay eggs in the soil. I'm sure mites have evolved a way to transfer location and hibernate in the dirt until conditions are favorable as well. All root material must be removed. In nature: bugs, worms and rot would take care of dead roots. I try to avoid those things in my grow. I am hypothesizing that even the best of flushes will leave residual nutrients/salts behind. Over time these will accumulate, even if you are mixing in new stuff. Think of it like compound interest. I do notice a major improvement when not recycling soil (promix etc). I would never do it again unless I had no other option. What I do with the waste dirt is, dump it on the lawn, chop it up with a hoe, and then rake it in. It dissapears very fast, even the perlite. I turn it into the gardens as well. If I did decide to do it I would only do it once then discard everything and start over with new soil/soilless mix. I hope that helps P.S. It sounds like you are fertilizing way too much. I would advise reading up on that topic.

![]() | Ain't cannabis a nitrogen fixative? Doesn't growing it improve the soil? I plan on reusing my soil over winter. Cant dig it fresh when the ground is frozen, and no garden supplies sale anything for the next several months. I don't see the harm of it

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ive done it with pro mix plenty of times. just flush the buckets that you used for the grow out alot, then dump it onto a tarp, let it dry completly, and package it back up. add nutes/lime as desired.
