Tough time finding a reliable 'babysitter' for some vacation time

I'm trying to get to Thailand this winter..got some medical needs to attend to and need a reliable babysitter. One that I can trust and with some smarts to handle my precious babies in a medium sized room. Seems like lots of folks want to volunteer but somehow can't manage to make it happen. Some live too far away. Some have protesting mates. Some have no brains...ie 'black thumb'. etc.

My other option is to 'shut down' completely...ie eat the rent for a month or two. This might have to happen. I'd def' would be more relaxed during the off time. It sure would be nice to come home to a phat harvest though yeah!!! I don't mind splitting a crop with the right person if it all came out good.

Anyone out there have a good babysitter? How 'bout a babysitter nitemare story

*note> for those who aren't aware of it Thailand is a great place for medical stuff. They have 2 of the worlds best hospitals...US managed hospitals. The prices are stupid cheep and the quality is top shelf

Come on down!! Haha. Heck I might have to put an ad in the paper. I guess I'll have to get some of those incog' babysitter video cameras hehe...something I can access online.

No one wants to make a bunch of $$ it seems. They all have 'reasons' not to do it. Personally if I was close to broke most of the time and offered a free education with benefits and a bright as hell future with a quick return I would jump at it.

I guess to be grower you have to be a certain type...a person with lots of free time and person who doesn't mind being alone for 60 days hehe. We wrote a list once of all the qualifications for a good grower. A sort of checklist for success . I remember being Independent was right at the top of the list.

The reason I mention this one is because I have a person who is very qualified and very willing with lots smarts + experience. Perfect for the job. I trust this person

Too bad his girl freind is so clingy and jealous he can't be away for more than a few hours!!! He trained for a few weeks and I swear that darn cell' of his rang every hour on the hour. Her 'wondering' when he was coming back to the crib. Of course she demanded he say he loved her at the end of every call! yech!! Who knows she might get P' off and drop a dime on yours truly if she feels too threatened

oh contrar'..security is my highest priority. All the candidates for babysitting (all 3 of them) are in my 'inner circle'. They are trimmers/patients and I have known each of them for more than 10 years. 1 person I went to high school with. I'm 32 and I know the value of security. Been involved since I was 13 and learned all those hard lessons a long time ago.

My house is waaay out in the woods. So far it makes it hard for anyone to visit. Some days I can't find it hehe. Believe me when I say 'inner circle'. There is a total of 5 folks I caregive. Thats it.. That's a lot less than most. I can't be an Island. I have to have some help and outlets

Besides I only grow 24 plants at a time. Once again alot less than most

Mazrim is growing every day.Mazrim is growing every day.

I have to agree. I figure for every one person that knows of your grow you are 10% busted. If 10 people know. Well, you do the math.

I really do wish you luck.
