Computer Ventilation Fans?

Im doing a stealth grow inside of a locker and dont have room for a squirlcage. I heard and seen people use computer fans as both inline and out, which i want to do. I tried googling computer vent fans but really cant find much. Was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction. Thanks

Im looking for possibly a website i can get them off of. Will a 6 or 8 in inline and exhaust fan be enough for 4 lowriders inside a cab

What kind of ligt set up are you using, and your talking about inline duct fans more then computer fans. Inline duct fans can be had a Home Depot or Lowes fore around 30 dollars. The computer fans would be a little small.

What JG said. If you are using CFL u can probably get away with computer fans that u can get at any computer shop, however, u will have to get a power supply to hook them up to and therein is the cost. If you are using other high intensity lighting u will need a bigger fan setup. Just make sure u vent in at the bottom and out at the top. That way the natural heat in the box assists in the air movement.

Ok so I went to Home Depot today and bought some supplies to get my cab about ready. I ended up buying four CFLs to grow four lowriders from sprout to harvest. Does that sound like enough light? The cab is 13in W x 39in H. And computer fans and power supplys arent a problem figuring I have multiple of both laying around. Just grabbed it and through it together and works great. Im gonna use the computer fan for extracting the air from the cab and buy a inline duct fan to bring fresh air in. Sound good? Any tips, pointers, or comments are appreciated!

You want more air exiting the cabinet than entering
. Having sufficient exhaust CFM can eliminate any need for active intake (unless you're having temp. problems, active intake not required).

What kind of CFLs did you get, a single 42w for each plant can "get you by". You'd get better results if the CFLs were in reflectors but it sounds like you don't have the space.

And what are the CFM ratings for yer fans?

Your going to want more then 4 cfls even if they are 42 watts. Id double it and at least make it 8 if not more, and yeah other way around on the fans, have the inline fan as the exhaust and the computer fan as the intake, You dont want to use the same spectrum light from start to finish either, you want daylight cfls with a spectrum of about 6000k for vegetative and soft white with a spectrum of 3000k-3500k for flowering.

you want at min. 5000 lumens per square foot with cfls its better to have more. Take your width and depth and multiply to get square footage. Then take your lights(23 watt cfls put out 1800 lumens) it will say on the package. and see if you have adequate lighting, chances are you wont and you will need more cfls.
