Example: Moms 1 & 2 = 10 clones each / first week " " 3 & 4 = " " " " / second week " " 5 & 6 = " " " " / third week I repeat this cycle two times and then a week off. It gives them plenty of time to grow more clones. The art to the whole thing is, to cut clones in places that you want the next brunch to grow. A grower can have great control of the way a mom grows, shape, growth rate, amount of clones, etc. Here is something that I do that gives me good results. Let the mother dry well, take clones, give her a good nute feeding and throw her under HPS light for a week. 1" of growth daily on each potential clone. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | do you leave your cuttings to flower in the 6" pots or do you transplant em? if you leave em whats your avg yeild per plant on the 9 week schedule? and whats the avg finish height of your plants with 1 week of veg? i know that strains vary and conditions n whatnot, im just tryin to get some numbers to run with on an established plan. sorry to pick your brain on this, but ive been plannin somethin like this for a while just dont have the space yet. wanna get it right before i even get to where i can do it so i do it right. what im thinking of is about half of what youve got goin. i was plannin for 3 moms on pretty much the same cycle as what you listed.(either papaya, thai x superskunk, or ak47) take maybe 10 cuttings from one mother each week. then following pretty much the same schedule as what you posted. the only thing with mine is, each stage of my grow would be in different areas. i want to have my mothers on one side of the house with my clones and 1st wk veggers close by. and then the flowering plants somewhere else. for space and security issues. thanks again so much. surfbum ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | surfbum Yes, I go from solo cups straight to 6" until harvest. In this weeks rotation I upgraded to the taller 6" pots. (you can see them in my perpetual tour thread) Last weeks average yield per plant was 7.6 gms This weeks yield was 9.8 gms per plant. I'm hoping the taller pots and the additional week of veg will bring 15-18 gms per plant. The finished height on the VIH is 16" coming out from veg at 10". The UJ start at 20" and they finish at 28". Running a small perpetual grow can even been done in a closet. Here is a scenario. Closet size: 2' x 10' divided in half. One side runs one single 400 HPS over a table with 18 plants. The other side has one single 250 MH over one table with 9 clones and two moms. Rotating every two weeks, harvesting 6 plants bi- weekly. My choice of strain would be the AK47. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Perfectly done Lou.. and I just finished spamming you with thanks It shows you put a lot of time and effort into this thread.. thanks for the effort! I like the details and I think I may move from 1mth harvest to 2 week harvest perpetual.. I like the weekly but Im not sure I can dedicate that much consistency.. ![]() Whats the average time your bud sits in cure for before its smoked? Just wondering if you have a 'cure' time as well.. or if its dried and smoked on a weekly rotation.. I feel like Im not making sense .. thanks again man! its a simple tutorial.. very well organized! ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Nelson, thanks for the compliments my friend, it was my pleasure. Quote:
I think will be a little easier on the body. I like to dry my buds hanging in boxes for 7 days at 50% RH, and then I put them in topper wear for 10 days, barbing them daily for an hr, and then they get in to freezer bags and in a box for storage. When I was growing individual grows, yes I used to smoke my buds after the week of curing. Since I went perpetual, I have so much weed stashed that I'm currently smoking buds that were harvested two months ago. And I think this period will get longer as more weed gets accumulated. I'm very happy, that this guide was liked by many, new & old growers, much appreciated you guys. Hell, throw that bud in the fireplace man. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | hey lou, i came across this, while trying to look for something else, i did an "advanced grow guide" version of "how to SOG" we no longer have a "advanced grow guide", it got lost somewhere, in a server move or something. Handbuch SoG (Sea of green) - Hanfburgforum a while ago a member came to me and asked for my permission to reprint it on their site, translated, in German. im thinking i should really make a new one tho. ![]()

That was nice of them to translated for their people, and Yes I think you should do another one. You're right, there is not much in here in Advance sog and there are a lot of people trying to go perpetual it seems. IMO, it should be perpetual guides on the stickys that explain all different ways of sog, including the math that is involved with it. Is the way that I think all growers will go in the future, a little sea of green, in a cabinet/ closet/ box etc, producing a steady amount of weed. If you think you got the time, go for it booty, certainly will be an interesting guide to have in our forums. ![]()
