SMART POTS ??? what do you think ?
permalink

My last batch of babies went into "smart pots". A pot made of a cloth type material. Almost like the black stuff you would lay down under landscape rock to block weeds. They are supposed to be re-usable by simply washing them. My plants are looking very nice, except i had a few mites, but have them under control and wiped out with another spraydown or 2. Ill examine root ball after i harvest. Seems like ive had my roots "circling" the pots. these smart pots are supposed to cure that. I have 10 gallon pots, 7 gallon plastic grow bags, 5 gallon smart pots. The 7 gallon plastic and the 5 gallon smart pots use the 15" tray, while the 10 g. pots take up alot more space with 22" trays. im trying to pack a few more babies into my room so i think im going to the smaller tray.

How much will the 2 gallon difference between pastic & smart affect size of my plants ?

ANY ONE ELSE USE THESE ?
With what results?
How would you rate them ?
What does everybody think about the plastic grow bags ?

i have a perpetual grow going, harvesting about every 2 months. They get to about 3 feet in veg and end up about 4& 1/2 when one flowering. Well, my previous batches did. the ones in smart pots are now right at 3' and ready for the flower room as soon as i clean and re-sterilize it again. This wekend it'll get a carpet shampoo, with a new layer of poly down and a coat of paint.
