Is my cab big enough?
permalink

The cab available to me right now is 14''W x 19''L x 27''H. Im moving in August, where I will have much more available space. But I dont want to wait till then to start something. How long do you think it would take to outgrow the cab I have now, starting from seed?

It all depends on how big your looking to get your plants. Height is only a minor issue providing you have more then a foot. My current case is only 16" in height and im on my way through my second grow.

Now you wont be able to veg a plant in a cab that size until august without some major LST but if you were looking to get a full grow outta the plant(s) then you could prolly get close to a month of veg time before flowering and still be able to contain the grow.

So you're saying that with LST it will take about a month to grow to the point where it needs to be moved to a larger cab?

What I think he's saying is that you could do your grow from start to finish in your current cab, as long as you only vegged for a month max.

August is four months off so IMHO it doesn't really make sense to start a grow now in your current cab to be finished in a larger space. Either you're going to have to go to 12/12 in a month, in which case you'll flower in the same space, or else you'll have to train the shit out of the plant to the point where it wouldn't be worth it.

Another approach would be to wait till maybe June to germ your seed and then veg with LST until you can move to the other space.

More experienced folks, please feel free to correct me on any of these points.

Lights? Temps? Soil? Hydro? Ferts? Need more information before we can start giving estimates on yield, and even after you have all that info its still a wild guess!

But to answer your first question, absolutely you can grow in that space. Search for Microgrows on here, you see all kinds of success stories

Good luck!
