![]() ![]() ![]() | My healthiest looking clone (jack ripper) is reallly really really wilted. I gave her a little drink and moved her up front closer to the light. I'm only running 225 watts of cfl for 8 little clones so I'm thinking I need to get them under that hps asap and get a little stronger breeze on them. Any other suggestions?

Some of my my little plants are wilting really bad. I've given a few of them about a shot of water when they look thirsty. They haven't been in soil very long and some of them are looking pretty sad but some of them were weak looking clones to begin with. I sat near them wishing them good health and trying to give them some carbon dioxide earlier today. I've been trying to give them more air flow, which equals a little less reflected light and they're still looking down. My personal favorite, banana kush (back right corner), is hanging in there though. ![]() ![]() Last edited by Van Omen; 06-22-2009 at 03:02 AM..

![]() ![]() ![]() | Do they look thirsty? or like they need more lighting? (at about 225w cfl now) The wilting ones are scattered, two up front, two in rear. Two small, and two decent sized. I dunno exactly whats causing the wilting. Is misting freshly planted clones necessary? I'm thinking they'll be happier under 400w and warmer temps with more air flow. ![]() ![]() ![]() | IMO - if you haven't watered in the past 24-36 hours, then they look hungry/thirsty. ![]() EDIT- I see water droplets inside the bottoms of some cups.... you should maybe consider some better form of aeration. (MJ likes for it's roots to 'dry out' a little bit so they can breathe Oxygen.. that means in a small container like those, don't water everyday, water when the top inch or two is dry, just a little FYI. G'luck, so far so good, man.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | have a flat white rather than foil surface; which reflects light and heat irregular. given the condensation i think too wet? but then i see root zone exposed to air and think too dry? So maybe too wet around stem, and grow pot stuff needs protection. More stronger light will just make it worse. you need to upsize your box and create a gently lit, stable environment, even temps and get them growing first. Never used grow blocks, but would be planting them in bigger pots so roots have somewhere to grow, provide a bit of support, and are protected from drying out. Water around the potted up plant not on stem, this encourages roots to go out beyond medium they are in, into pot soil. good luck nigel

![]() | I'm new to inside grows myself. I'd also like to know if the wattage matters. I found 13 CFL's that put out 6500k & was hoping 4 of those would be sufficent to veg 4 plants... They're only $9 @ Lowe's.. So I hope they'll cut it.
