![]() | I start in 16 oz cups, transplant to 1 gal bags after 2 weeks (starting the veg cycle), then to 3 gal bags at 4 weeks into veg, then to 5 gal bags when I switch the lights to 12/12 after 8 weeks of vegging. Over the years I have found that this is what works best for me

Justa quick question: wouldn't adding time at the end of flowering only increase the stoniness of the weed, make it more medicinal, vs adding time during vegging to increase yield?May I ask another? Is FFOF reusable? Can you tell I'm still learning? (Is that a third question?) [Was that the fourth?] {I'll stop now} Thankx

![]() ![]() ![]() | My last grow I used 3 gallon pots for the later stages and I had no trouble whatsoever. If you're going to go through the cycles as soon as you can, I think 3 gallon is fine, but if you want to take your time and grow it out more, 5 gallon or up is the way to go.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | For most of my adult soil MJ grows I am going with the 5 gallon square pots that are found in stores that have hydro farm products or in their catalog. My auto strains usually go in the 2 gal. square versions though.

1. I'm not sure but, since I transplanted her during the flowering session (7-weeks in) I thought i'd add the extra 2-weeks to allow her to settle into the new container size and thought maybe she'd bulk up the flowers already on her a little more.. 2. I do not re-use my FFOF since it seems to me it'd be too "Hot" (full of nutes) from feeding and I do not believe that flushing "Hot" soil ever gets all the nutes out - maybe my thinking on this topic is off.. 3. We're "ALL" still learning, there's always something new we as the "God" of our enviroments have to deal with day-to-day 4. Never stop asking questions!!!!!!!!!!!!! Am I done, I think so until someone comes along and tells me my thinking is wrong ![]() Have a Great Day and G/L with your grow don photo 1 - Blueberry (LST Gone Wild) in her old container a 2gallon short photo 2 - looking down on BB in her 2 gallon photo 3 - BB in her new container 5 gallon short

FFOF is NOT RE-USABLE!!! Never re-use any soil, add the old to your compost pile and grow yourself some awsome tomatoes, beans and corn

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I notice a lot of people using the 16oz tumbler cups commonly found at the dollar store. I've seen some recently, and they seem to be very thin and not very light proof. I know you can use the foil tape to solve this problem, but everyone I've seen using them doesn't bother with this. Why not? Is algae growth not an issue in such a small container? I imagine this also serves to raise the medium temps quite a bit, which seems to raise another problem.

I find that 6 inch or 9 inch square pots do my best work with organic soils and feedings. So my vote goes with that. I can say i enjoyed the added time away from the girls in 2 to 3 gallon grow bags which tend to hold moisture longer. Jah Bless
