Question Miracle Grow

I want to know your thoughts on miracle grow. My friend told me it wasn't worth getting expensive nutrients because I'm only growing a couple plants in a small area.

Remember Saving Private Ryan? Towards the end, Matt Damon and
Tom Hanks are sitting on chairs in bombed out ruins and Matt is describing
the last night he saw his brother.. when he yelled DON'T DO IT DANNY, YOU'RE A YOUNG MAN.

This is like that.

My thoughts are that there soils are worthless. Some of the nutrients they have of course work.

But do they work as good as GH AN Fox Farm, Canna, ect... NOOOO.

Id buy the international house of guano kit before a miracle grow porduct. Same price range, only ones much better.and healthier.

Miracle Grow is crap for growing cannabis. There I said it. You get what you put into bro! Save yourself some time and headache, and invest in some quality organic soil. The extra dollars will go a long way,you and your plants will love it. All the best!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, this is one of the debates that has no end.

Some people swear by MG, saying if used right it's good (but remember to flush well in the week before harvest.) Some people wouldn't use MG if they were on fire and it was the only liquid nearby.

My experience with it is with preferted soil, which caused early problems for me. Based on that alone I'm on the "don't do it Danny" side.

If you want good quality, inexpensive ferts, there's a company selling on eBay called Blue Mountain Organics. There's a discussion In this thread about their products, and by all reports it's darn good stuff.

MJ seems to tolerate MG much better outdoors for some reason. I would never dream of using MG indoors tho. Ever.

I was in the same boat as you... only a couple plants and not wanting to invest in what was to me at the time, just more expensive dirt. Will MG work? Yes... the plants will grow in it... but you will likely be disappointed with the results. You could also take dirt from your backyard and it would work... just not very well. since you only have a couple plants, you want the plants to reach their full potential, so give them every advantage you can... better soil, better nutrients and better light. Trust me, you do not want your months of anticipation to end in disappointment with a poopy harvest

MG soil and bloom booster works for me. I've been using for nearly 6 years and have been happy with my results.

Take into consideration

#2 This isn't a movie about WWII
#3 Misused the word there
#4 "You get what you put into it", and that could include getting your name on a list for ordering fertilizers that are cannabis exclusive.
#5 Snob versus slob argument.
#6 Beats not dreaming at all
#7 Are you in a boat to begin with?
#8 In this economy it depends on where and from who you buy it from.

They all make valid arguments. Stay within a budget, and don't buy everything at the same time from the same place.

#9 used miracle grow for five years, but did he ever compare it to something else? If so, what?

Well #9?
