hi i dont kno if this would work so plz correct me if im wrong .. but i was wondering my room can i only use "In vents" taking cold air from outside in and not use any out vents ?? the carbon filter will be in the room with a vortex sitting on top of it but it will not be venting out anywhere just goin back into the room after it goes threw the carbon filter

If your room is airtight, its going to be like a messed up car backfireing down the road.

If your room has little leaks, its going to push smell out. You would be better having an exhaust with no inline fan imo.

The rooms air flow won't be negative like you would like it to be.. But if you have a big enough filter to scrub all the odor you should be all set..
Do you have an AC or chiller? Do you have any heat issues? How much wattage in the room? Are the hoods vented?
We might be able to help you set it up more efficient if you aswer those questions

I have a 7'X8'X7' grow room with 3k watts, 2 1k hps cooltubes vented in and out from outside, 1 1k mh no hood, also for cloning and vegging 2 80w 4' floros, and window AC. All the equipment is in the room and I don't have any problems with heat. when I turn the MH off I can get it down to 65 with the ac..(those tubes are awesome)
