Last time I checked plants use C02 to breath and output oxygen. What you're saying is like putting a human in a room with a machine that generates a ton of C02, which will eventually kill you, to much is like poison to us. If plants don't have to much oxygen same thing applies.

Correct me if I misinterpreted something.

Good morning,

I had an idea for an "Auto" gravity feed drip system using a wide mouth 5 gallon water bottle (like on an office water cooler, these are small mouth versions) and equip it with (2) aquarium bubblers on the bottom to aid in the oxygenation of the water along with an submersible aquarium heater attached to the side that would keep the water temp in a lukewarm state during the winter months. A small air pump mounted to the wide-mouthed lid and a timer circuit that could water my grow area "Mother's & young Ladies" growing.

LED Accent Lighting for Aquariums: EcoSystem Aquarium ECO LED Accent Lighting

I was thinkin of getting two of these I like the lighting effect, I guess I could just stay in the gr.op and "duh" on lights all day while taste testing ... Thinkin maybe a blue & green, but the bottle is a bluish color maybe brighter colors

Have a Great day & good luck
don

Oxygen to the roots and CO2 to the leaves. Most of the air (of which oxygen is a component) is going to bubble straight out of your reservoir but a small percentage will actually dissolve into your nutrient solution. This is what you are aiming for. Gases are generally more soluble into liquids at cooler temperatures so make sure you reservoir isn't too hot, but don't keep it real cold either. The smaller the pores on your air stone the more bubbles will form therefore the more surface area of gas to liquid resulting in a higher concentration of dissolved gas. Airstones also work as a great tool to simply keep your nutrient solution churning and well mixed.

Correct me if I misinterpreted something.
Its a pretty common misunderstanding that plants use CO2 in the same way we use O2. The straight fact is that plants AND humans breath O2! Plants are autotrophs, which means they use CO2 to make their food, but they still require oxygen to metabolize it. This is even more true for the roots, which aren't capable of making food and rely on the leaves for sugars, so oxygen is a requirement in order for them to live. Hope that clears that up!
