You could dry in the crate the same way i suppose if you were able to hang lines through it. There's very little you can do to make your room not smell like weed when you're trimming it though...

Your exit hole is your exhaust hole, btw since you have no hood which is like this

You would just put a scrubber in there and have the fan suck air through it and exhaust it out your uh "exit hole"

Hope it helps, good luck
I can always trim on back deck lol.

I was going to get these 4 inch inline fans.

Inductor 4 In. In-line Duct Fan - DB204 at The Home Depot

Why exactly do I need to have a fan blowing the air around if I have a fan sucking it out. The new air coming in would have enough to move all the air around in there, due to the small size of the container.

I mean I CAN get a little fan in there that blows air around if that's what i need lol. A little 10 dollar clip on one. Keep in mind the plants im growing are only going to be like 15 inches MAX or so, not like I have to worry much about them getting in the way.

This will be my first indoor grow, if things for whatever reason don't work out I will have 8 more seeds left to grow. I'm just trying to make sure the stuff's right. If the fans are only 3 inch... here's how I would have had them stacked on the backwall of the crate.

(FORGOT TO DRAW IN THE INTAKE HOLE)

Heres a picture of what I had in mind. I will find a way to get the power outside. I'll probably have a power strip with surge protector behind it and run the cords out of the back of the crate to it or something.

dude i appreciate it but so your saying that having a fan at the end of the line sucking the cold air from the outside through ? you say i need to blow through the lights instead of sucking all that heat..
i dont think we understand eachother
i have a fan then some duct the hood, duct, another hood, duct, and outside air, and from the fan i SUCK the cold air through all the vents .. so by the time it comes out the fan and out the duct to the family room it is hot air. that is right correct?

Good luck xtensity. I'm not sure those inductor booster fans will be enough to pull through a carbon filter, maybe it can work with a really thin filter in your super small cab. You would want the fan at the top of your cab though, not sucking air down to the bottom from the top like in your picture. I would think that you would also probably want it sucking air through your filter so your fan doesn't get gunked up and because it works better. Although some people prefer to blow it through and I ain't stoppin ya see what works.

Gotcha! We did not understand each other before, that is right correct.
It's still unclear to me what this means "sucking air out the top with a oscillating fan"
Is your in-line fan exhausting your cab or just your lights? I don't mean cold air from outside, I mean hot air from inside your cab. You must have some serious space to work(compared with anything I've ever done) with if you're running 2k lights. Instead of running the duct outside, I would just have a carbon filter on it at the end of the 2nd hood or even a vent filter if I didn't care about smell. You would probably need a higher CFM fan to do that through two hoods and what size space? Like a whole bedroom? I didn't mean to imply you should blow through the lights. I think I misunderstood this:

the only thing i dont have i guess is a fan sucking out.. i just have one fan blowing cold air in the other fan in line with the lights with the hoods and the whole setup, and thats all i have right now..
If all your ducting is straight and the CFM's work for the space I think it'd work fine to keep the lights and your cab cool. As long as it's not too hot outside. Otherwise air conditioner? Hope that was more helpful.

Does it matter where the fan is if it has ducts on both ends...? The air is still getting pulled directly through the duct from the top.

So I put the carbon filter infront of the fan instead of behind it so it's kind of like pulling on the carbon filter?
