![]() | Hey brother, I'm not trying to be rude BUT, This isn't my first "gro" around. I appreciate the response but K.I.S.S. is not the subject. I'm not asking how to grow. I made a switch after 5 grows from Hydro to soil just because I'm tired of running my A/C and it's a bit chilly season around my way. Plus my A/C is central, so it doesn't turn on as much as it does in the summer. So I had some root issues, being that my nute res got to 70 degrees at times. And when u have Organic stuff in ur res at 70 degrees, it's not a pretty site. So I went to Soil. All the stuff I listed up there I have use B4 with my Hydro with GREAT success. And when I started growing last year I did KEEP IT SIMPLE, though I was no STUPID! But by my third grow, I had been reading for a while about other grows and incorporated recipes together to make what I have now. I mix my recipes and my PPM's are monitored VERY well. As a matter of fact, the last I add is my BASE nutes, so I get the PPM's I want. Brother I'm not trying to be rude, but I just feel u didn't have much to say except the OBVIOUS. Peace.

![]() | I actually, accidentally snapped my Strawberry Haze. I was tryin to bend it a lil so it wouldn't be bothered by the closeness of the light. And I snapped it. I bandaged her up, and reinforced it with aluminum tape. Hopefully she'll be alright. On my first grow this happened and I actually used electrical tape then,LOL, and it reconstructed it's stem. It actually made the stem stonger. It actually had a knot in the stem. Kinda looked like the calcium build up in my ankle when I broke it, LOL , so I'm pretty sure she will be fine. But u might see the bandaging on her in 1 of the pics. The first 3 pics are of the girls with the lights off, and my exhaust method. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() <--This is my own strain, which I call "Fuzzy Mango" It was a K.C. Brains "Brasil" Hermie/Father and a Greenhouse Seeds "Super Silver Haze" female. <--Ok...... So here's the deal. When I got the beans, I was SOOOOOOOOOOO freakin excited AND STONED, that I plopped the beans in 2 different cups with water and then said...... "Shit.... Which one was which again?" Sooooooooo I'm not sure if this is G13 Labs "Pineapple Express", or Big Buddha "Chiesel". I will know in the end. But if u're curious to what I think it is????? I really am stuck on the fact that it's the "Chiesel". <--This is the other one of the "I DON'T KNOW WHICH 1 IT IS" This is the one I think is the "Pineapple Express" We'll See in 8 weeks(which is when she is supposed to be ready). The Chiesel is a 8-10 weeks strain. So I'm guessing at least 9-11 weeks <--And this tall bitch is the sweet Greenhouse Seeds Strawberry Haze. I hope she doesn't get like the Power Skunk I had my first 2 grows. The first 1 get about 75 some odd inches, as for my second 1 I topped early, not once but twice. So I had 4-50 inch long stems, all stemming from a 12 inch main stem. I got 4 tops alright. LMAO! I turned 1 plant into 4 plants. Seriously! Well, I hope u enjoy the pics, everyone/anyone, LMAO! Peace-♥P.S. Also there's a couple of "Fuzzy Mango" in Bubblers back there as u saw. I had a couple of babies in hydro but do to the fact that I can't keep my room at 66 f so I keep my nute res nice and cool, messed my roots up. So I moved 3 of the babies to soil and kept 2 in the hydro. those roots are doing much better and the ones in the soil have gotten a heck of a lot better, thought they're at about 10" now. So I think they'll be fine. And those that I moved from the hydro to the soil that I speak of are 1 Greenhouse "Arjan's Haze", Which has recovered wonderfully. Another "Fuzzy Mango" Which has also recovered very well. And a Greenhouse "Hawaiian Snow" Which I think isn't gonna be worth a damn but I have the space for it, so until I have a reason to get rid of it, it will stay. I've been quick to want to throw a plant away because of it's size. The last grow the plant that I thought was looking like shit was the one that turned out with the beautiful nugs. The "Lemon Skunk". Last edited by I♥BUD; 11-05-2009 at 01:26 AM..

WOW. Looks awesome. Wish I could check this out in person. Sounds like the Strawberry Haze is going to make it since you've been there before. But keep the updates coming. I hate it when I snap plants, but most of them have made it in the end. Aluminum tape, huh, never thought of that before. LOL. Everyone can learn something from you. It's not a system for everyone, but there's a lot of beauty in those plants. The results are righteous. ![]()

I will keep this as a "journal" per say. I won't start a grow journal...... BUT, will add pics here, through out their flowering stage, just for those sick bastards who jack off to beautiful nugs(AS I AM GUILTY OF IT ALSO! LMFAO!). The aluminum, tape isn't actually doing anything BUT supporting the branch. I have a bandage under the tape. I initially used a bandage, but it didn't hold it very well. So I reinforced in with aluminum tape, just for the tapes strength. It worked pretty well. If I would have used that tape on the branch directly, I would have never been able to get it off the branch. I thank u for ur kind words, and ur views are humble. peace-♥

I watered 2day until just a little drained. Like a little puddle. But in the Jorge Cervantes video he says to allow a 10% run off. So am I watering correct or should I water till a nice amount of water drains out? Also I water twice. For example, I started out watering about 2 liters then waited for 10-15 minutes. Nothing came out of the bottom. So I added another 1 liter and that's when a small puddle drained so didn't water anymore. Thanks for any help. Peace-♥

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I water in two stages too. My pots are about 4 gallons & each plant get about a gallon & a half before I am done. I'll water with 1/2 gallon to moisten the soil, wait 10 minutes and water another gallon. I'd say you need a larger puddle of runoff. I always remember the saying, "You can water too often, but you cannot water too much." So when I think it's time to water the soil plants, I wait another day, then drench them.
