i was just wondering . should i ajust my ph before mixing nuts ? or after ?? for Soil growing som1 told me if ur ph is oready to hi on defualt . u should lower it first then add nuts then lower it again .. says if my ph is at 8.0 with just plain water i should ajust to 7.0 add nuts then adust again if needed | ||

![]() | I am doing soil grow as well, do you know if you adjust the PH in the water/nutes before you water or do you do something with the soil PH? I Just adjust my water/nute PH abut have no idea about my soil PH? I was always told to add the nutes and then check ph before watering. | ||

You want to water your plant with the correct pH - as EMj said 6.5-6.8 soil; 5.8 for hydro. Add your nutes, get your pH where you want it, water. If you are using a good balanced soil, I see no point in checking the pH of the soil. Keep your watering pH in check every watering and you should be fine. ![]()

I would adjust to 6.5 and monitor your plants. You'll see problems if you need to adjust it to a different PH. 6.5 is hard to hit for me. I usually try to end up lower than higher. That's why my ph is mostly between 6.4-6.5 | |||
