Nice green leaves. What are the stats? How are you growing it, lights, space, nutes, etc.?

hey thanks doc. as far as nutes go i have only been using a blend of soils part mirical grow part moodoo and part organic soil and it has been doing awsome so i am not gonna mess with it. i mad a grow box about 4 foot hight 3 foot wide and 3 food deep as i want to keep the plant somewat small and i am using only one screw in arifical sunlight floro it puts out about 100 watts and uses only 25 watts. i keep it only about 2 inches from the plant. i have no idea what kind of plant it is its just some bag seeds but it came from some decent stuff with good flavor. i just droped it to 12/12 now its like 18-20 inches high.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I would definitely add some more lighting to it. Adding a HID would be best, but would create more work, you would have to have more ventilation, cooling, space, etc. So what i would suggest is getting yourself some more CFL's. Id say add atleast 300 more watts of cfl to the space. Good luck ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Welcome to the garden, great looking plant! I like the broad leaves. I would definatley add more light, though. a good guide is 50-100 Watts of HID per square foot. If you have a 3 X 3 box, it = 9 square feet. you need roughly 75 watts/sq foot for best results. so 9 X 75 = 625W. You could do with less, like you do with keeping the light 2" from the plant, but I would add more anyway, if you want growth and flower eventually. If you just want a mother plant to keep and take clones from (1) 23W CFL is fine. You could do probably a 400W HID in a DIY cool tube and have the temps/light be ok. Read up on it first, it's not that hard. EDIT= was typing when you made your reply at 1:58 pm.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You can keep that bulb just to get by if you'd like... but I wouldn't expect more than a few grams worth of bud from your harvest while using it alone. You should really check out some of the CFL grows around here, there are some good, cheap ideas to get enough lighting in there on a budget.

thanks again. im not looking for huge crop anyways i have limited space and i am just watching her to see what the cycles are. again this is my first grow so its just a learning curve plus i have some sprouts that will chang my setup if need be im starting to make a constant cycle with my plants so i have a constant turn over for my crops. and it helps to have friends that also grow so if im short they will hook it up. my next step once i buy a house is hydro i have a friend that sets them up for green houses and his own.
