How would this work for the smell?

I'm only going to be growing like 2 small lowryder plants at a time in a small 1.5x1.5x1.5 foot container.

I've heard of people using Ona Gel for partial smell elimination but what if you used them along with odor eliminating CFLs?

I'm running really tight on cash and can't really afford a good fan + carbon filter, but I can get some what of a low powered fan that wont be pulling through a carbon filter, but will still circulate air in this small container.

Say I put 1 container of ona gel near the fan blowing out, and 1 near the intake hole of the container. So the odors that aren't eliminated by the 6-7 odor eliminating CFLs I would use, would be eliminated by the Ona gels.

Any tips/ideas on this?

I don't really think odor elminating bulbs are going to work with mj... She's a stinky lady (in most cases)

Careful with Ona Gel, I've had crops smell and taste like that crap after using it. Does mask the smell though.

I've heard tons of people using odor eliminating bulbs effectively with MJ.

The Ona gel I could just place outside of the exhaust so it goes through that and doesn't effect the plants. But i was also reading that ona gel doesn't put off smells, it eliminates them.

It may work, I have no direct experience with it... but I doubt it will elminate the smell entirely just with the ona and the bulbs.. You may want to think about making a small carbon filter. That would give you 100% smell removal...

Ona Gel has a very distinct smell, your buds will smell like it if its around.

Hm... possibly, but I don't have a lot of money to spend on an expensive fan to hook it up to.

I can get a cheap one, but one of those Ecoplus fans are to much lol.

i use ona gels fresh-linen scent, the gallon tub, all the time outside my growing room to help cover up the dank.....i even got the fan attachment that sits on top of the gallon tub to help ventilate the scent better.......good product and will help to cover up 80-90% of your MJ odor depending on how big a grow you got going.......but you should still save up for a good carbon and fan set-up to really control odors.......

Well I figure about 2 plants 1 foot high each isn't really a big grow..... Think a gallon tub of ona would cover that up some what... in a 1.5 foot cubed box, we'll I'll probably upgrade the size of the box but yeah. If I put the container right before the outtake fan would 99% of the smell be eliminated from such small plants in a small container?

yeah, for what you got growing , i think a gallon tub would cover up most if not all your MJ odors....it's potent stuff and with a gallon, you can expand your grow a bit and still be covered
