| your plants will stop growing when root bound. If this happens it should be very easy to transfer since all the dirt will be caught in the roots. but anyways if you want to transfer now you can jus dig around the plant with a spoon or other small digging tool. make sure you dont hit the roots, take out the plant carefully putting it into a bigger pot with a small hole already dug for the root ball. | umm, sorry Kush dude, but if multiple plants in one pot get rootbound, how are you going to seperate them all w/o damaging the roots? chances are, they'll be more able to survive it if they've got a ton of roots and you mangle the hell out of 'em, but you'll surely be destroying some root matter...hmmm, ok, so maybe you had a good point *scratching head*...oh, another method you might try, if it's a rather small container, remove the entire dirt/root ball from the container (as if you were going to transplant into a bigger pot), and get a rather large container filled w/ room temp water and wash the dirt off the roots, that way you can usually keep from damaging any/many roots at all...that method has always worked really well for me...or you could (depending on the composition of your soil) flood the pot w/ water to the point that the 'soil' is mostly water, and the plants should pull out rather easilly... | ||

![]() | A good thing to remember GT is that all seeds should really be planted in pots at LEAST 4 inches deep...otherwise the male to female ratio alters to a level not conducive to nice female, juicy budz. Also, for me,a good method of transplanting is just to cut thru the roots to seperate them into singles.Sounds rough but 9 out of 10 had no shock at all.Heaps of water too.CHEERS | ||
