![]() | Hi all- I have a few questions. Please do not respond unless you have serious growing experience, no piss in the wind newbie ideas. Ive grown many plants outdoors as well as indoor. At my old house I had a seperate growing room ... Anyhow, I just moved into a new place this week and its much smaller, and unfortunately I wont be able to have my growing room. Bigtime bummer huh! I am bound and determined to grow on though, but not without a little enginuity (sp)! The only space I will have to grow will limit me to one plant. I would like to grow the one as a special plant, and enjoy the clippings and not kill that plant by harvesting. My question is: Ive pruned and trained plants to keep them very small for indoors, but need to know if it is possible to grow a single plant (on top of a nonfunctional air conditioner unit in a bedroom window - behind smoked glass), and "bonsai" it to no more than 2' in height with a few nice colas ... ? Im sure I can do it, but has anyone else out there done anything similar? Thanks for the help in advance!

![]() | Never tryed since i have plenty of vertical room, but seams possible, presuming you will do it with clones... However, it will require severe pruning, increasing the possibility of getting an hermie, but it's a risk we all have to take once in a wile... I would probably cut the steam leaving the 4 lower branches and after veg 2 weeks start oppening the branches forcing the midle part of the plant to advance as several tops; then you can prune the plant putting all tops with the same size. After 2 weeks you should be ready to flower... You can also scrog, anyone else with ideas??? wolf

![]() | yo RJ ![]() yeah i have an idea that if your only going to grow one plant then you could make the branches grow horizontally and at the same height as the plant pot like a big carpet of brancjes all at the same level as the pot and then flower them and they shouldnt ge t bigger than your 2 foot of grow space, and if they do then just tie the budding branches to about 18' and you should be ok. i use the tying down method myself with garden string, but have never gone to these lengths because i have several feet of grow space and merely want to open up the lower parts to direct light wihtout having to top or prune extensively (except for the very small lower branches that never amount to anything anyhoo) but u could give it a go !! i s'pose it would be a kinda carpet of green (CoG??) with only one plant !! only drawback wiht such a method is that you will have to veg your plant for longer than normal to let the plant develop more at the bottom. hope this helps....... keep your buds dry Big C
