Question

Hi all,
Things are going great with my newly purchased phototron...in fact i have never seen plants so healthy and full!!! Yet i do have a question....
The whole theory behind the phototron is that you constantly prune off large leaves as to promote the growth of more budsites and nodes. I was a bit skeptical at first and really wasnt to sure if i wanted to put my 3 girls under the knife...but after a bit of contemplation i sided with the directions pruned a pretty healthy amount of leaves...AND THE RESULTS WERE INCREDIBLE!!! These are like no plants that i have ever seen....they are more like weed bushes!! but anyway... im starting to flower and i noticed that 2 of the 3 plants are real thick on the bottom but as they got taller there arent as many nodes...

My question is ... can i top them and try to redirect there growth to the bottom, thus making them grow up with closer node space??

And i've read a lil about topping but im not really confident about the whole process and im really affraid that i could possibly f#ck them up!!! If anyone knows how to perform this procedure...or knows of a link that describes it explicitly...i would greatly appreciate the help!!!

Also, please post your opinions and experiences on topping. Past successes or failures....im interested to gain all the knowledge that i can before i proceed...

Thanks a lot and ill keep you all posted on my progress!!
later--

When I top my plants they get a burst of growth. The stems of the branches grow like an inch or two overnite. Topping in my case doesn't promote tight internode spacing.

Never Top an indoor plant. Just bend it if you need too.

Topping only wastes time in a indoor grow op. And it wastes time and really give you no extra bud for the time it cost you.

Topping bad. Bending good.
