I live in an appartment building and the trash for the whole buliding goes in to this one dumpster. Now my question is if I put the leaves and sticks in the dumpster will that be enough to smell it? Even over other trash? Or is there a safer way to get rid of the stuff?

How many plants do you have? If you only have a few, and just have to through away the leves that you trim off, you can just flush em down the toilet. (that is if you don't wanna through them out in the trash.)

If it is a community dumpster you probably don't have much to worry about ... just discard them in a bag ort something that you DO NOT have in your house ... Say if you use Purple gald trash bags then don't use those since you have them in your home... Use a generic brown bag or something and you can even throw some other trash (not specific to you!) in with them .... I think it would have to be pretty skunky bud to smell it through rotting food and gawd knows what else is in there...

Nice idea Proteus but when I was in my crappy apt the hole in the ground didn't have a GD

What do you do with the stems?

Now I live in a house and I simply throw the stems leaves etc into my compost heap or simply bury them under the ton of other crap dropping in my yard

useless. Guess we should use our stems to make rope
These cold nights are good by a fire. Again, we go
handful at a time and watch the pretty colors while relaxing to that popping sound

yeah, fireplaces are dangerous. i might light my cardboard box on fire. j/k.

grind up the stems and sell 'em as incense or something. There's got to be something useful to do with them.

You jokers! ...Want to know what I do with stems? Well, first I chew 'em up after I smoke a bowl or two, then when they're nice and wet I leave 'em somewhere to dry out and get real crispy, THEN I chop 'em up and SMOKE 'EM.
They're not REAL potent, but 1 decent bowl of stems is enough to get a head change. FOR REALS!!!!!
