hey everyone,
as some of you know, and have helped me with, my plant had some problems a couple of weeks ago. the plant is now looking really healthy, i has started to grow again, and is now nearly 14 inches tall. the leaves are not curling or dying, and there is alot of new leaves. i repotted on saturday 4th november and watered the plant in well, untill water came out of the botton the the pot. since then i havent watered, as i was worried i would get rootrot again (i had rootrot about 3 weeks befor i repotted), i have 2 hydrometers in the pot, one directly in the middle of the rootball, and on 2 inches deep in the soil. the hyrdometer which is 2 inches down sais the soil is compleatly dry, the hydrometer in the middle of the rootball sais it is dry. do you think i should water again?
thanks
james

I'd have to say yes ... but take it easy at first ....

dig down a little bit so you can insert the meter deeper into the soil and get another reading ....

You want to get as close to the bottom of the pot as you can to get an accurate reading from the diff layers

Good Growing
