Question Hemp?

If your plant is hemp, I guess that it is....Your answer is no. Hemp will not hurt your cat. He/she'll just feel funny for a few days

Your lil kitty will munch that plant up as soon as you turn your head so take proper precautions to keep them apart

My cat ate/demolished 2 immature plants earlier this year. I think they didn't like the plant because of all the attention given to it. But I think it made them freak out, eating it that is, so without any protection, they leave my new plants alone.

My prior solution was to get a roll of mesh from HD, and wrap it around the container so the cats couldn't access it while still being easily accesible to me.

Hope that helps!

By the way, I grow catnip and cat grass to distract them too! Why should I be the only one getting high?!

I had a bad situation with my kitty! We had got him about a week ago, and he was only a baby. I had come from school and discoved my plant was distroyed! Almost all gone. The cat didn't act right, it was on the ground, and wouldn't do much. So I called the vet and said the cat got loose and it was throwing up an odd plant. They said to bring it in, and I did. They gave it some kind of stuff to force it to get all plant out of it's system. They didn't know what it was, but they told me to not let it happen again, guessing they had a feeling what it was.... Just keep the plant or cat seperated from each other, and don't make the cat jelous! They desearve equal attention!

A friend of mine once had his dog eat an entire pan of brownies. The dog just passed out and slept for about 4 days. The dog's fine now, no damage, but, whoa, what a waste of some good brownies. Eating MJ isn't what a cat/dog is designed for, but it probably wont kill it.

P.S. If you think a stoned dog is funny, it's really isn't , and chocolate is poisenous for dogs, so no brownies.

I keep an eye on my cat when he's around the plant, because the first thing he wants to do is devour it...So i let him have some of the dried leaves...One thing I've noticed ,is his flea problem is subsiding...I wonder if pot is a flea repellant???
