Hi Yaall,
Heard somwhere that growing garlic alongside your plants can help prevent bugs. This is cool and Im going to try it also because we use a lot of garlic at home. Does anybody else grow other plants alongside their indoor crop? I fancy growing tomatoes and chillies as well, but not sure if theese would be good companions, like theres somthing about onions and potatoes being grown together, and some cullinary herbs do better when placed together also.
Just wondering...
Good Growing

the more plants you grow the more oxygen that will be created. i also think growing other species along side your special plant will throw ppl off from what your acually doing.

hey,
you could try either french marigolds, or normal marigolds, people use them to keep flys off carrots.

Hey leaf, good subject

I have a book called "carrots love tomatoes" which is a guide to companion planting. although it has entries on aphrodisiac plants(!) it mentions nothing about weed

Garlic is good for keeping aphids in particular away. I think there are some other entries that might be beneficial to the weed grower as well, I'll go get the book and do some research.

I haven't had any bug problems yet (knock on wood) so I'm not too sure what pests are common to weed. If anyone has had bug problems, post 'em and I'll try to look up a remedy.
