I am a 1st time grower well 1st real try, ive been looking about and this is the set up I think I want for my 1st go what do you think

Ive got a lot of room but only want to grow 1– 2 plants @ a time

From what a read Northern Lights is best for 1st timers so this is my pick

That should work for 2 plants just fine. Your maximum space should be ~3x3. 250 HPS ~ 27,500 lumens/9 =3055 lumens per sq ft. A 2x2 space would give 6875 which would be very good. Don't know that bulb but it should provide a few extra lumens over std. Just be sure its a wide spectrum HPS so you can veg and flower with same bulb.

A lot of other issues to read up on though like temp, humidity, growing medium, PH, nutes etc.

I did read the Grow Bible but didnt find it to be much help most of it was over my head but reading other posts on here is helping a lot :-)
