Hello fellow growers; i was wondering if it would be alright to veggie my plants outdoors; since its nice and warm now here.; and then bring them in under my 1000 watt light to flower. Would it stress them you think? I don't want a bunch of hermies. I know i start them indoors before o take them outside and it don't bother them any. Your comments would be greatly appreaciated. Thanks!

Yes you can veg them outdoors....by the time you are ready to flower they will be old enough to not go hermie on you (You only have to be carefull in the fouth week with stress).....just watch out and not bring any outside bugs into your indoor garden to infect your other plants!...just be ready with some insecticide on hand if you do

Thanks james bong. I'll sure watch for those bugs bro; their only two weeks old right now. They sprouted inside then went straight outside as soon as they were out of the soil. Can i ask you another q? I would like to veggie under floro's and flower under my 1000 watt; just keeping it on 12/12 all the time; intirely for flower. How long would i have to veggie them under floro's till ready for the big hid? That way i could have a harvest every ten weeks without waiting for them to veggie under the hid too. Also thinking about the extra electricity i would save; and the extra hours on the bulb running it 18/6. Would it take forever to veggie till their big enough to flower?

there is no set time for vegging its entirely up to you and how big you want your plants to be. they will tripple in size by the time they are finished flowering so many people just veg til theyre about a foot give or take a few inches,so about 6 weeks. or you can keep a mother plant under your flouros and and take clones off of it. that way you dont even have to veg,as soon as they develop roots they are basicly ready for flowering.

hope this helps good luck

Thanks ben420; thats what i was wanting to know man; just about how long it took under the floro's till their ready for flower. So i want them at least 12'' tall; because the last ones was 6'' tall and i did'nt even get an ounce a plant. I want at least an ounce a plant but i don't want to wait 10 weeks for them to get big enough to go to the flower room.Last time i veggied under the flor's i just let them go three weeks then put them under the hid because i got tired of waiting. But i would like to keep the 1000 watter on strictly on 12/12 for energy savings; and bulb life. They growed good under the floro's and were busy and intrenodes was close. I guess i could start them as soon as i put the others in flower and let them veggie as long as the others are in flower; which is ten weeks. I'm going to try my cloning out soon; probably after this harvest; but going to go with seed again this go around. Got thousands of seeds; need to use them up before they get to old. Their a nice strain from some good weed i smoked and took the seed out and done some breeding and got lots of seed. Their an indica dominate; short and bushy.
