Im about to start my first plant and i had a few questions. If i do an OK job how long would it take for the plant to fully grow? How much marijuana would i be able to achieve? How long would the curing process take? -im sorry if these questions are constantly asked. Im just too lazy to go through all the threads ![]()

![]() | First thing im gonna say is, read the grow bible over and over till u know it by heart, there's a reason it's called the bible ya know...... how long? week 1: germination/seedling week 2: seedling/entering veg stage week 3-7: veg stage week 8-16: flowering stage Thats it more or less in a nutshell. Of course this is the minimum, meaning you could let the veg stage go on for as long as you like, and during that time your plant will get bigger and bigger till u let it enter the flowering stage (by giving ur plant 12/12 light/dark). And yes in that case you will have more bud. However being that this is your first grow you should really play it simple, give it about 5 weeks to veg.............How much? There is really no way to tell because there are so many different strains and it can all depend on conditions, temperature, nutrients, LIGHTING, etc. and i know nothing about ur specific strain or situation. Yields can be anywhere from a few grams to 5+ ounces but expect NOTHING on your first grow since there are so many things that can go wrong. I'm gonna tell u again READ THE F@#$%ING BIBLE OVER AND OVER OR I'LL GIVE YOU A SONIC WEDGIE!!!! good luck and welcome aboard.....Peace out ![]()

![]() | yea that pretty much covers it you CAN start the 12/12 cycle early and end up with a teeny tiny plant... but you would yield only a few grams and wouldnt be worth the 8+weeks of time and effort.. so you might as well let the plant do its thing for at least a couple weeks alternating nodes is the BEST way to see when a plant is "ready" to go to flower.. but you can base it on height for you particular needs for example, if you force early flowering expect the plant to get between 2-3x its size by the time it is done flowering.. maybe a little bigger depending on strain.. so if your grow space has limited hieght.. etc however if that is the case you could get a much better yield using some kind of training method like a scrog or low stress training to keep the plant low in short.. as much as we would like to sit here and explain everything you would need to know.. there is just plain too much of it to contain in a single post... so like he said, read , read and read some more use the search function if you cant find an answer to something then someone will always be around to help ya out or at least point you in the right direction welcome to hc.com... now hit the grow bible there will be a test ![]()

From there it could be anywhere from 1 gram to a few ounces depending on your skill and the strategies you take.

Do some minor reading then come back with some legitimate questions. Redundant thread closed. PP
